Resumen:
This work is an attempt to analyze the social changes occurring in agriculture, based on the changes in the productive structure and the relations of production that resulted in the process of proletarization of the agricultural labor force, in order to understand its reflexions on the organization of workers in trade unions. The specific objective of the study is the analysis of the change process of the city of Sapé, located in the region of Agro Pastoril do Baixo Paraíba, where the trans-formations in agriculture produced qualitative changes in the composition of the workforce, with repercussions on the content of the claims of rural workers.
