This research aims to study the issue of urban planning to develop a better urban mobility in the University District in the city of Campina Grande, Paraíba. To achieve this purpose, they studied up references from the analysis of federal and municipal legislation on urban mobility policy and research in the field of research contributed to the understanding of Urban Planning, making it more human, attractive and suitable for non-powered mobility. In view of the growing urban sprawl of the neighborhood and consequently the increase in displacement demands in the neighborhood, we will seek to understand the causes that led to the current offset problems encountered in public transport and non-motorized means of transportation in the neighborhood. In addition, the traffic on the site is presented an overview of the neighborhood and how it is currently made public transport operation and how is characterized by the description of the roads that are used by public transport, by mapping the bus stops with their physical characteristics and a survey by the responsible municipal transit agency, the routes of the public transport system, in view of the University District concentrate the two public universities in the city, technical school, hospital and other institutions who daily attract a large number of inhabitants. Also discussed will be the Master Plan of the city of Campina Grande with regard to the issue of planning and urban mobility in order to implement public policies to rehabilitate public transportation in order to qualify you to serve urban areas with high influx of people . It is believed that the government is responsible to plan and oversee the urban space for the use of urban land is better used and effective action are developed for the public transport system is prioritized by implementing the guidelines of the new Act Brazilian Urban Mobility established by Federal Law 12.587 \ 2012.
