Resumo:
In proportion to the increase in the complexity of supplier selection and its activities, there is a growing demand for tools to assist in decision making, considered a key element for the success of companies. Despite the existence of several mathematical models in this sense, most of them are not easy to understand and use. Thus, this work aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) to help decision makers in the selection of suppliers of their main strategic products for production. Thus, it was sought to understand, through bibliographical research, the current context of studies in this area to support the selection of a mathematical model to be translated into a WMS. From this, the system named SADSF - Decision Support System for Supplier Selection, was developed in Microsoft Excel, using the Solver and VBA (Visual Basic Application) tools, considering usability characteristics that provide the decision maker with autonomy to perform a complete analysis in a simple way. Based on this, the main advantages based on the use of SAD are cost reduction, time saving, ease of use, flexibility for changes and decisions based on a non-empirical way, thus bringing positive results to the organization.
