Abstract:
In this work we study the behavior of static eletric and magnetic fields coupled to a dieletric function with intent to obtain an eletrical confinement similar to what happens with the field of gluons that bind quarks in hadronic matter. For this we use the phenomenon of 'anti-sreening' in a medium with exotic dieletric. We show that tachyon matter behaves like an exotic way whose associated dieletric function modifies the Maxwell's equations and affects the fields which results in confining and Coulombian potentials in three spatial dimensions. We note that the confinement regime coincides with the tachyon condensation, which resembles the effect of confinement due to condensation of magnetic monopoles.
