Resumo:
Companies are always looking for alternative ways to increase their profit margins and
market efficiency. For this to be possible, they need, in addition to having prices that
are competitive with the market, to reduce the large amount of errors, rework and
damaged products, but in a way that does not generate too many costs and does not
affect the company's image, so as to have the higher quality of its products. The
growing demand for quality in products and services is due to increased competition,
as companies currently see quality as a strategy not to jeopardize the survival of the
organization, therefore, with the objective of adapting processes to achieve the
requirements of organizations and their customers, the quality tools, achieve high
performance through definitions, analyses, measures and suggestions for solutions.
Therefore, the study aimed to apply quality tools to improve processes in a company
in the textile sector. The methodology was carried out through a case study, with onsite
visits. The collection of quantitative data took place through the verification sheet
in order to analyze the most critical causes involved in the process. We used the tools
Ishikawa Diagram, Pareto Chart and the 5W2H to develop an action plan. Therefore,
the results obtained demonstrate significant impacts such as non-conforming products
and rework that generate costs for the company as well as a drop in productivity. In
this way, the verification sheets generated in the finishing were analyzed, where 39%
of the problems registered were in the elastics of the shorts, with this the Ishikawa
Diagram helped to understand the problem and together with the 5W1H and flowchart,
an action plan was generated, which generated analyzes in various sectors of the
company, one of the improvements was to readjust the production flow of the Final
Assembly, in order to prevent errors from reaching the Finishing, aiming to reduce
them, which may eventually reach the end customer.
