Abstract:
Our research will have an approach based on the thematic field of Cultural History, and with
that, the present work seeks to problematize the construction and the representations of the
literary paths of the Boqueirão Literary Festival (FLIBO) between the years 2010 and 2020 and
the protagonism of the Boqueirãoense Writers Association (ABES); through the discussion of
some elements that may have led to the process of construction of the Festival. In addition to
discussing a possible formation of readers from its insertion in the city. In view of the gap
found, in which there were no academic works about the construction of the Festival, we set
out to discuss it aiming to contribute in a significant way to the local history of the city and to
the collaboration of literary knowledge for readers who love literature and all those who wish
to know a little more about the city of Boqueirão and its literary movements. For the
methodology we used the oral history, with the report of a founder of Flibo to add to our
discussion. And with that, to guide our interpretations we resorted to Verena Alberti and José
Carlos Sebe, scholars in the area. In addition, we applied a form about FLIBO in order to get to
know some of the participating publics and their specificities. To ground our research we used
Sandra Jatahy Pesavento's concept of representation (2012) to discuss impressions and
representations given to Flibo. From these points we could see that there was an intention of
literary construction and formation of readers in the heart of the city of Boqueirão, besides the
intense collaboration of Abes for this process.
