Resumo:
This work presents a comparison between two constructive methods: conventional
construction method and concrete walls using aluminum forms. The paper proposes to
present, in terms of: cost, labor and productivity discussions
and which method is most
advantageous. The method consists of a case study comparing two projects, one whose
construction was done through the conventional method, and the other was made from
the method of concrete walls molded in loco, using aluminum forms. It was observed that
the concrete walls method, when using aluminum forms, presents a reduction 6,14% of
the total cost of the work, together with a decrease of more than half of the used labor
compared to the conventional construction method. In addition, it showed a productivity,
more than double, when compared to the conventional construction method. Therefore,
although the initial cost of aluminum forms is high, it can be said that it is advantageous
to acquire them, especially when observed in the long term.
