Roller compacted concrete is a rigid material with low consumption of cement used in infrastructure works. The technological control of the roller compacted concrete begins with the investigation of the available raw materials and follows the processes of mixing, conveying and compacting. Therefore, it is necessary to have a technological control to gauge the quality of a material that is continuously produced and that is subject to failures in the manufacturing process. The objective of this work was to evaluate the technological control of the roller compacted concrete used in the construction of the Retiro Dam located in the municipality of Cuité - PB. The execution of the layers of the Retiro dam mass between December / 2018 and January / 2019 was carried out, in which different samples were characterized and collected. The research data were obtained from the results of the laboratory and field tests of the roller compacted concrete and aggregates, granted by the construction company responsible for the implementation of the Retiro dam. The specific mass of the roller compacted concrete presented results within the recommended one and the aggregates presented the specific mass values constant. The fineness modulus of the sand is within the optimum zone and the mixture of stone powder and hail had a variation that did not compromise the quality of the compacted roller. The constancy in the modulus of fineness in the large aggregates was due to the crushing procedure where greater control of grain size can be obtained. The parameters VeBe and moisture content showed good uniformity with only two variations of the moisture content above that expected where a remixing with subsequent samples was made. The estimated characteristic strength of the concrete was 14.1 MPa where the compliance condition was reached after compared to the design characteristic strength. According to the analysis of the results, it was verified that the compacted concrete with roll applied in the execution of the works of the Retreat Dam obeys the prerequisites established in the design specifications.
