Inflationary cosmology describes a phase in which our Universe expanded in an accelerated rate in a small amount of time. Inflation solves the problem of the actual value of density parameter and the horizon problem. In such phase we consider that our Universe were governed by a potential generated by a scalar eld the Inflation. Brane cosmology is inspired by string theory describing cosmological models in extra dimensions. This work will study the brane cosmology immersed in a Minkowski in 5d to investigate the Universe acceleration. To do so we consider the slow roll approximation to the behavior of accelerating Universe with the scale factor and scalar eld governed by a
potential created by this model.
