Resumen:
Air transport is one of the main transport systems used for the movement of people and goods. However, in Brazil, this system is little explored. Regional aviation, in particular, receives the least investment due to the political and economic problems that affect the interior of the country. This work aimed to study the airport Oscar Laranjeira, located in the city of Caruaru PE, aiming at the elaboration of a diagnosis of its airport infrastructure
and the identification of nonconformities with the regulations of the National Civil
Aviation Agency (ANAC). Also presented are the procedures for overcoming the
nonconformities found and, thus, enable the airport to request its certification to ANAC so that it can operate regularly in response to the existing regional demand of passengers and cargoes.
