Résumé:
The Water Supply System is one of the components of basic sanitation, therefore it is a right guaranteed by the Federal Constitution. This service can be defined as a set of operating systems, infrastructure and facilities restricted to drinking water supply systems, which involve elements ranging from the abstraction of water from springs to building connections. In this context, the elaboration of the Municipal Basic Sanitation Plan - PMSB is an important planning tool, assisting in the management of activities related to sanitation. A fundamental step in the construction of this is the elaboration of a situational diagnosis of the provision of services, identifying the main deficiencies, so that in the later stages, a plan composed of programs and projects that aim to address the main needs is drawn up. The National Sanitation Information System (SNIS) is presented as an important information base to assist in the elaboration of the diagnosis. In this sense, the current work aimed to characterize the current supply system in the municipality of Casserengue / PB, which makes up the TED 03/2019 between FUNASA and UFCG for the elaboration of the PMSB of 50 municipalities in the state of Paraíba. For this, indicators present in the SNIS were used. In the methodology, population
projection and calculation of future demands were also carried out. After the analysis of the indicators, it was possible to identify the main deficiencies, which are related to the service of the system, low rates of hydrometering, significant rate of losses, low billing by the provider, under-measurement of consumption and low reserve capacity. Therefore, an action plan was elaborated using quality tools: The 5W1H method and the GUT priority matrix that detailed the necessary points of action to correct the deficits. The results obtained in this work can be used as a subsidy for the elaboration of the PMSB, assisting in the management of drinking water supply services in the municipality.
