Résumé:
The search was realized with teachers with biology teachers of the state education network of the city of Cajazeiras – PB between 28 August and 18 September 2017. The study used the qualitative-quantitative approach, of the descriptive type, with technical procedures such as case-study type. Its methodology was applied through the application of questionnaires. The objective was to analyze the conceptions and practices of biology teachers of the state education network of Cajazeiras-PB about methodological strategies used in teaching and learning biology. The results indicate that teachers have knowledge and use different methodological strategies in their classes, despite the difficulties observed in schools such as the devaluation of education, lack of didactic and financial resources.
