Résumé:
This work analyzes the reading from a discursive perspective. It reflects on the construction of meanings from the adoption of the chronic narrative genre. Several possibilities for reading the world arise from the analysis of the texts produced by the students and their interlocutors, since it allows to unveil the textual strategies that delimit the transit from the fictional world to the real world in a text of memories. Through the eyes of Discourse Analysis, it is possible to effect the construction of meanings of texts in an interlocutive game in which the author- reader-author -production process is presentied to prove that reading, as an effective sense- in the space of interdiscursivity. From the perspective of the present research, we aim, in general lines, to reflect, in the discursive perspective, how the senses of a text are produced, based on the analysis of a chronicle of Father Fábio de Melo. Specifically, we aim to discuss, in the theoretical perspective, the importance of discourse analysis of orientation for the production of meanings emanating from a text; to present from the theoretical point of view the conceptions of discursive / textual genres and their importance for the reading and comprehension of texts, especially in the school context; analyze, based on the theoretical bases assumed by the research as the discursive strategies of chronic narrative genres. The research presented here is essentially of a bibliographic nature. For that, we proceed to the selection and analysis of theoretical texts on the subject of research. The theoretical foundations assumed during the course of research fall within the field of French Speech Discourse Analysis and Applied Linguistics. Our corpus of investigation is, especially, the chronicle "Time, homesickness and forgetfulness", written by Father Fábio de Melo.
