A luz de cada um. Estudo preliminar de humanização hospitalar: Maternidade Regional em Campina Grande - PB.

Abstract

The work developed has as object of study the understanding and application of humanized architecture in the maternal and child hospital environment. The objective is to prepare an architectural Preliminary Study of a Humanized Maternity of regional scope, with implantation in the city of Campina Grande - PB. Faced with a situation where the main maternity hospital suffers from occupations and serves many cities not only in the region, but also in neighboring states, the need was observed and through research carried out, an inclination and desire by the public authorities to meet this demand, building a maternity hospital. Therefore, the present work seeks to present a proposal based on academic studies about hospital humanization in response to the imminent construction of public buildings without consultation with the public who uses the space. The project proposal is based on the literature of authors such as BITENCOURT (2003), TOLEDO (2008), MEDEIROS (2004) and the booklets provided by the Public Health System, SUS.
