Resumo:
Processes such as industrialization and urbanization caused changes in the way man relates to nature. In order to reduce the impacts generated by the predatory exploitation of natural resources, humanity has delimited protected spaces where nature must be preserved, studied, appreciated and interpreted. In Brazil, despite efforts on paper, through advances in legislation, the reality of most protected areas is still far from ideal. However, recent urban and architectural projects for conservation units demonstrate how it is possible to work these spaces so that they become alive and fulfill the objectives defined in their creations. The studies carried out showed, through the diagnosis of the Parque Estadual do Poeta, object of study of this work, how groups driven by private interests act negatively on this area of ecological interest, taking advantage of the lack of action by the government. The diagnosis identified and systematized a series of information that helped in the development of proposals that range from the urban scale to the architectural scale and aim to present solutions to the identified problems, demonstrating the potential of the area to welcome and provide the realization of activities of a recreational, educational and scientific. The work resulted in the elaboration of a zoning of management areas for the park, an urban planning, generating a masterplan and a preliminary study of a visitation, education and research center. potential of the area to host and provide activities of character. recreational, educational and scientific.
