Homoerotismo e repressão em Navalha na Carne e Amarelo Manga.

Abstract

This paper's objective is to do a comparative analysis between the Homossexual representation in the Plinio Marcos drama Navalha da Carne (1968) and the one's in Pernambuco's movie Amarelo Manga (2002) directed by Claudio Assis and written by Hilton Lacerda. This paper is supported by Guyards (1951) and Remak (1994) conception to comprehend the aproaches in the comparative studies and in Bauman's conception (1997) of "weird" to observe how the homossexual characters are presented in both dramas. Some acceptance and rejection spaces of groups which were excluded and stigmatized by a hegemonic culture are analyzed, because they do not fit in a repressor and segregating society. To comprehend the fight history and the search of homoerotic visibility spaces, this paper is based on Green (1999).
