Abstract:
We analyze carefully how teachers in two high schools of the city of Aurora-CE appropriate the films as a teaching resource for the construction of historical knowledge
in the classroom. We analyze the discourses of teachers taking into account the physical
conditions of schools, which involves the relationship between school and technological
resources, teacher training and the theoretical and methodological choices adopted by teachers to make use of films. Analyzed the interviews made us believe that the practice
with the movies, very active in both schools, is being designed in order to complement school contents, which led us to think about other possibilities and suggestions for this feature. Thus, this research discusses an analysis of the importance, risks, care and possibilities that movies can offer to education. Recalling that, in this work reflect the basis of previous studies on the topic some questions about film, culture industry, audiovisual language, teaching practice and teaching of history.
