Resumen:
Introduction: Avulsion is considered the most serious dental trauma injury, characterized by the complete displacement of the tooth out of the socket, reimplantation is considered the first choice of treatment in most cases. Objective: To report a case of dental reimplantation of maxillary central incisors after avulsion. Clinical case report: A 15-year-old male patient sought the emergency medical service in the city of Patos-Pb, after tooth avulsion of elements 11 and 21, while playing at school with speedball. The elements were reimplanted approximately two hours after avulsion, after reimplantation, semi-rigid splinting was performed with composite resin and subsequent endodontic treatment. Conclusion: Although it is often not a definitive treatment, reimplantation maintains its esthetics and function, especially in young patients, who have not yet completed bone growth, for rehabilitation with implants.
