Résumé:
This study aims to evaluate, through a literature review, the adhesion of orthodontic devices using 3M Transbond ™ Plus Color Change hydrophilic adhesive and cyanoacrylate based adhesives. In the present work, we used the narrative literature review method with the theme Adhesion of orthodontic devices using Transbond Plus Color Change hydrophilic adhesive and cyanoacrylate based adhesives, based on works from the years 2012 to 2021. This type of methodology has a more open, without
a specific protocol, but elaborated from relevant articles, freely selected. The search for articles related to the topic was carried out with the following descriptors "tooth impacted ", "dentin-bonding agents" and "shear strength" in the MEDLINE, Scielo and VHL Portal databases from 2012 to 2021. Given the above, it can be concluded that the adhesion strength of orthodontic devices using Transbond Plus Color Change hydrophilic adhesive 3M and cyanoacrylate-based adhesives varied in the studies, which
can be justified by the methodological differences observed in these.
