Resumo:
One of the recurring problems in the implementation of the pre-molding of the
structures is the need of the connections between the elements with the aim of ensuring
stability and a good distribution of efforts. The corbels is widely used in pre -molded, in
that it serves as a connecting element between two components such as beam-pillar. In
spite of the efficiency in the distribution of efforts, the consolation presents the
difficulty of concreting in the process of pre-molding due to the large amount of armor
required in little space. In addition to the main strut armature, generally if they use
stirrups in vertical and horizontal (Armor of sewing). Consequently, this work arises
with the aim to study the influence of addition of steel fiber to the concrete in the
conventional used in the molding of corbels short, aiming at reducing the armor's seam
and the improvement of the characteristic of a fragile concrete. The experimental phase
was divided into two (2) steps: Tests for material characterization and mechanical tests
(Resistance to compression simple tensile strength testing and destructive of the
models). Have been tested three models of corbels being two of them molded without
incorporation of fiber one with half the armor of the seam (As,cost) and the other with
the As,cost total proposed by the NBR 9062/2006, and the third with half of the armor
stitching and addition of 0.5% steel fibre.In general this research showed that the
addition of steel fiber to the concrete promoted increments in the load c apacity of
corbels increasing the load of break and the Beginning of cracking of the model tested.
