Resumo:
Several problems devastate the urban areas of Brazil. Incomparably, there is little knowledge of the population regarding the legal possibilities of slowing down or solving these problems. This paper will present a proposal for a card and board game that, in a playful way, will teach the fundamentals of Urban Legislation and concepts, such as Urbanistic Instruments, capable of mitigating the problems of Brazilian cities, through the actions of the population, of private initiative. The guiding principles of the research were developed through the reading of literatures about Urban Law, fundamentals for the development of board games and teachinglearning methods through games. The project was developed through the application of questionnaires, prototyping and facetoface tests. It was verified through the testers' tests and comments that, although the game was designed in a short period, it achieved its goal of conveying new knowledge regarding Urban Law. From these results, we can conclude that the final product can be expanded beyond the academic field.
