Characterization of testicular thermal pattern and thermal gradients of horses and donkeys through infrared thermography. This study had the objective of evaluate the pattern thermographic testicular of horses and donkeys healthy, created in the backlands of Paraiba, for that can measure the pattern thermal normal of these animals, like evaluate the thermoregulatory capacity of donkeys doing compared with horses, once the systems of creation between the species diverge, where the horses are created in intensive system, protected from sunlight and the donkeys in extensive system, exposed to sunlight, to this was necessary beyond the testicular temperature, collect data of surface temperature and rectal temperature. Was utilized six horses quarter mile and six donkeys without breed defined, all in reproductive age, between four and eight years. The values obtained showed that testicular thermal pattern is a little above the values of the studied literature, and the donkeys have a good adaptability, once that have a high surface temperature , and the values of the testicular temperature equal to equine. The thermography is useful for medicine veterinary, for be one non-invasive technic, of easy application and can assist in the diagnostic of testicular pathologies.
