Resumo:
Residue detection of antimicrobials in goat's milk on Pernambuco's Sertão. A study was performed to detect the presence of antimicrobials residue on goat's milk on
Pernambuco's Pajeú. For this, was conducted interviews with producers from the association
of raisers of the region and posteriorly two producers were selected, both showing failures on
the organic and health management and on the milking. Were collected about of 166 samples
for analysis using the “Devoltest SP Ampola”, wherein the positive samples had repetitions of
the test, for result's confirmation. Then, lectures were given and carried out visits to
properties, whit the intention to provide information and to implant effective managements
techniques to promote improvements, in order to reduce the occurrence of diseases and,
consequently reduce the use of antimicrobials. After management interventions, new
collection was made to re- examine the flock and the situation on the use of antimicrobials.
95.55 % and 82 % of positive samples were found in the first sample, after the visits and
adopting hygienic methods, the number of positive samples reduced to about 53.12 % and
48.27 % for the producer 1 and 2 respectively.
