Résumé:
Scarring is a body mechanism to recover before a wound using mechanisms involving
coagulation to the reorganization of the extracellular matrix. The suture materials are used to
facilitate healing of wounds approximating the wound edges, wires are used to make the
synthesis and hemostasis. The needles pierce the fabric and the lead wire from one edge to
another, thus making the approach of these edges, these needles can be traumatic or
atraumatic. Traumatic is triangular and cutting tip serving for the skin and atraumatic are used
in internal sutures and has a cylindrical tip. Suture techniques can be stopped or continues to
be onlay, or evertor inverter. The withdrawal of the wire must be when the scar of the wound
gain strength, yet it is hard to say exactly when to pull the thread judging the variations of
healing. The cyanoacrylate adhesive is an alternative for its rapid implementation reducing the
time of surgery, promotes tissue sealing prevents fluid extravasation, but causes sensation
burning due to its polymerization. This body gives off adhesive around the fifth day may be
up to the tenth day. tapes are porous and prevents the accumulation of secretions that prevents
the proliferation of bacteria making a safe healing. Staplers are used in gastric anastomosis,
apposition of the skin, lung resection, liver and cardiovascular.
