Résumé:
The features and performance of non-constituents from carcass have fundamental
importance in economic terms, because it directly affects the yield of the main
product, the carcass. In the Northeast of Brazil there is a consumer market, which
appreciates the guts of ruminants, among others used in cooking, presenting itself
as a source of nutrients and it is cheap. Previously the regional importance of nonconstituents
from carcass, this study had the objective to evaluate the weight and
performance of non-constituents of the half-breed goat carcass finished in
Caatinga enriched with Buffel grass (Cenchrus ciliaris L.) and subjected to partial
supplementation with Malva Branca hay (Sida cordifolia). We used 24 male goats,
non-castrated crossbred F1 [Boer x No Bred Defined (NBD)] with an average initial
weight of 20 kg. The animals were drawn and distributed in four treatments: 0, 10,
20 and 30% of body weight. The supplement consisted of Malva Braca hay (MBH),
protein concentrates and energy formed by soybean meal and ground corn grain,
mineral supplement (mineral core goat) and more necessary ingredients to get a
requirement of 150 grams daily gain (NRC, 2007). All ingredients were mixed
together to obtain the complete feed, whose proportion roughage / concentrate
ratio of 50:50. After completion of 90 days of the experiment, the animals were
subjected to fasting of solid and liquid corresponding to 16 hours and 12 hours,
respectively. All components from the animal body not included in the carcass
were weight and evaluated their income according to the slaughter weight (SW)
and cold carcass weight (CCW). The Data were submitted to analysis of variance
and regression in randomized design with four treatments and six repetitions. The
analyzes were conducted at the level of 5% probability using the computer
program SAS (2004). The results showed that the malva hay replacement levels
did not influence the weight and yield of non-goat carcass components, thus being
able to use up to 30% of the concentrate replacement by FMB lossless these
portions.
