Résumé:
The modernism brought to our lives the exaltation of cars, thereat the pedestrians as
a fundamental part of the city were forgotten. The need to create more quality public
spaces to achieve urban well-being is well-known. It is also known that the postmodern
society shows a behaviour marked by temporality, therefore, bureaucratic
urbanism cannot meet the expectations of this new generation. From this, there are
actions motivated and promoted by the population, which aim to create small interventions
for the improvement of cities, for example, most cities are creating the mini-
parks: the so-called parklets. However, not everyone agrees with this installation.
To understand the concern of these groups, this work seeks to investigate the process
of implantation, appropriation and acceptance of parklets. For this, a qualitative
research will be carried out, with bibliographical analysis of the theme, visit case
studies, conduct questionnaires and field journals, for subsequent construction of
comparative graphs.
