Resumo:
The objective was to make a survey of the cases of Cryptorchidism in horses treated
at Medical and Surgical Large Animal Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University
of Campina Grande, Campus de Patos-PB, for the period January 1998 to December
2012, taking into account of race, age, and location criporquidismo side of the
retained testicle. 32 cases were found in this survey, the majority being in the
animals Quarter Horses (37.5%), the testes with the highest frequency was left and in
most cases was in the abdominal cavity.
