Resumo:
Embryo transfer in Pêga donkey in Paraiba state. In order to establish a program to produce Pêga donkeys, a commercial program was
conducted by embryo transfer in Jacarau, state of Parayba. Four donors were used with
good fertility history, ages 6-8years, and as a donor of semen, a male of proven fertility.
Females were subjected to follicular control and evaluation of uterine edema as a means of
determining the moment of ovulation induction and artificial insemination. eight days after
ovulation detection, were performed the transcervical embryo collection. The viable
embryos were transferred in the recipient by the transcervical route. There were three
collection per animal, a total of 12 collections, seven embryos were recovered of which
were achieved three pregnancies that came to an end. There was low fertility rates in the
use of this technique, however it must increase the number of collections and females used.
