Resumo:
Isolation, counting and identification of Staphylococcus spp from in natura goat milk produced by family farmers in the municipality of Monteiro - PB. The objective of this research, and to identify isolate strains Staphylococcus spp from goat milk produced in the city of Monteiro- PB, well as the main factors responsible for such contamination. The samples were analyzed according to microbiological techniques routinely inoculated and Baird- Parker Agar (BPA), which combines potassium tellurite , glycine , selective chloride and egg yolk emulsion . In this study 74 samples of goat milk in natura the city of Monteiro, located in Cariri Parainano, was identitified 10 species of Staphylococcus spp were identified were analyzed. Of the total sample, were isolated Staphylococcus. in 45 samples , in which 21 (46.67 %) were coagulase positive , most frequently for S. delphini , followed by S. lutrae and S. schleiferi subsp . coagulans. The coagulase-negative samples were 24 (53.33 %), predominantly to chromogenes S. epidermidis. The results highlight the need for conducting training on farms, as well as implementation and monitoring procedures, as the Good Agricultural Practices to prevent contamination of the raw material.
