The research will deal on the vicissitudes of peasant struggle in the northeastern region of Brazil, but precisely in the alto sertão of Paraíba, with the theme "Conquests and Obstacles in the Tres Irmãos settlement in TriunfoPB", considering the obstacles and achievements in the formation and organization of the peasant territory in this settlement, the struggle and participation of peasants in political and sociocultural life and also the struggle to overcome difficulties in the conquest of this land. Thus, the main objective is to know the achievements and obstacles of the peasants in the Três Irmãos settlement in Triunfo-PB. The specific objectives aim to present the narratives that portrait to the advances and the obstacles of the peasant territory in the Settlement Três Irmãos from its origins; to reflect about the most different social, economic, political, cultural and environmental actions in the territorial conquest of the Três Irmãos settlement; to demonstrate the advances and challenges of the peasant resistance to stay in the peasant territory of Três Irmãos Settlement. The research was carried out in an exploratory action characterization, exploratory, bibliographic, documentary, descriptive with quantitative approach. The techniques used for data collection were a semistructured interview with the use of a tape recorder and photographs. The secondary sources will be marked by the use of documents belonging to the settlement in governmental and nongovernmental agencies. From these methodological procedures it could be see possible to understand, as a result of social processes a new relationship that families establish with the land in the settlement, the local political culture as a territory is won, the subjects change their way of life and share the relationships and fight against the dilemmas and developing their answers and their different projects for the future. We emphasize that there were both obstacles and achievements and that these were present in the organization and formation of the settlement and are still present until the present day. Both served as learning and strengthening in resistance and territorial conquest.
