Abstract:
Under the veil of patriarchalism, hegemonic literary discourses were delegated to men for many centuries, fomenting in our society the image of women as individuals subjugated and exlcuded from the production of literature. Only in the XIX century a literary tradition of female authorship began, aiming at critically rereading myths related to the so called “natural” female inferiority. This and other facts made it possible for women to join the most diverse social fields, for defending their view point as well as to denounce patriarcal ideologies that limited their lives. In this context, understanding the classroom as a democratic space proper from reasoning, this dissertation intends to understand how working with the literature of women from the Brazilian state of Ceará in the Brazilian 9th grade school year, can foment and validate, through a didaticpedagogical supporting material, discussions about women representativity and their spaces of action. The value of this research can be seen in the relevance of its object, since it has not still been a much investigated one in the academic world and in social spaces, besides, it brings a study on women writers from Ceará. Taking into consideration one of the skills BNCC (2018) one of the most recent and important Brazilian educational guidelines for teachers – proposes, as well as literary literacy discussions, teaching of literature and gender studies, this research debates such topics and others, having as its theoretical support the studies of Magda Soares (2011 e 2017), Rildo Cosson (2018), Regina Zilberman (2010), Rita Terezinha Schmidt (2019), among others, aiming at presenting a pedagogical proposal for the teaching of literature that can contribute in an important way to the teaching of the literary text in class. One of the main objective of this research is to deconstruct prejudices around literature of female authorship, since it is a result of a patriarcal and androcentric society that is still present in our society. Thus, it is proposed a short book of reading activities about the work of the following female writers from Ceará: the short stoy “Cinco mil litros” by Jarid Arraes’ book Redemoinho em dia quente (2019); the chronicle “Rua do escirtor, número tal”, by Ana Miranda (1951), published in the newspaper O Povo (2015); the cordel “O linguajar cearense” (2007), by Josenir Lacerda (1953) ; an adaptation to comics by Shiko of the novel O quinze (1930), by Raquel de Queiroz (19102003) ; and the fantastic novel A casa (2011), by Natércia Campos (19382004). Each chapter brings prereading, while reading and postreading cultural and literary activies, with guidelines for teachers and students, aiming at promoting literary literacy.
