Efeito do ambiente sobre as respostas fisiológicas de caprinos Saanen e seus mestiços com raça Boer no Semiárido Paraibano.

Abstract

Effect of the environment on the physiological responses of Saanen goats and their crossbreds with Boer breed in the semiarid region of Paraíba. Physiologically crossbred animals adapt better conditions. The objective of this study was to assess the effect of environment on the physiological responses of pure Saanen and crossbred goats. A total of 30 of Saanen and crossbred ½ Saanen+ ½ Boer + and ¼ Saanen + ¾ Boer kept in semi-intensive system. The record of the environmental variables were performed using HOBO. The temperature was obtained an infrared thermographic camera Ti Fluke 25. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Analysis System and Genetics (SAEG, 1993) and the averages compared by Tukey test at 5% probability. The averages of the TGN were higher in the atmosphere and sun during the afternoon. The values of the ITGU had become quite high. The analysis of variance revealed no significant interaction for the studied factors, coste, pesce, cabd, fits, caned, TR, FR and TRTs depending on the genetic groups. The statistical analysis revealed significant interaction (p<0.05) between periods and groups for genetic parameters costd, pescd canee, TS and TSTA. The Saanen showed less tolerance to environmental conditions of the semi-arid than the crossbred.
