Evaluation of bioelectrographic characteristics in small dogs. The Kirlian photography or Bioelectrographyis a photographic technique can help identify health problems. It was initially observed in Brazil in 1904 by a Jesuit priest, Priest Roberto Landell de Moura, perfected in 1939 by Semyon Davidovich Kirlian, a technician Russian electrician, which provided major breakthroughs in technical bioeletrografic. Again in Brazil, Newton Milhomens in the period from 1967 to 1968 commenced research on Kirlian photography, signs identifying the light halo that forms the images kirliangrafics, correlating them with organic diseases and various problems in the human psychic area. This work refers to a research conducted at the clinic of small animal Veterinary Hospital (HV / CSTR / UFCG / Patos-PB) and a private clinic (Veterinary Medical Center) in João Pessoa in the period november 2011 to march 2013. This is a descriptive study and experimental with a quantitative approach that aimed to identify characteristics bioeletrografics of small dogs, adults and puppies, healthy and sick, and died. Twenty dogs were photographed in their digital (cushions) of the right forelimb or tail tip in those who had. The photos were analyzed using as benchmark studies in humans and comparing the images obtained from dogs. The results show regular patterns analyzed so that it can be understood that the Bioelectrography is a technique that can also be used in veterinary medicine to identify health problems. Given the small sample studied, it becomes immature any statement about a "standard bioeletrografic" in small dogs can, however, be a record this work towards the development of research in this area.
