Resumen:
Effects of pinhão bravo (Jatropha molíssima (pohl) baioll) of the Euphorbiacea family) and mussambê (Tarenaya spinosa (Jacquin) Raf family Cleomaceae) on the reproductive parameters of engorged females of Rhipicephallus (Boophilus) microplus (Acari: Ixodidae) in the semiarid region of Paraíba. The cattle industry in Brazil is of great importance in exports, in addition to meeting the domestic market. The Northeast despite call almost every year with the drought has been highlighted with milk production and living with drought is the most important for production. R. Boophilus microplus is an ectoparasite that brings great damage both as regards the production of meat, milk, leather and which may cause diseases such as parasitic complex grief. It is seen that the improper use of chemicals leads to a resistance of parasites, damaging and often producing environment. Phytotherapy is used since antiquity and studies show that herbal treatments achieved great results and are economically viable for the producer. This work ethanolic extracts of wild pinion (J. molíssima) and mussambé (cleoma espnosa) were used, using the same concentrations of 50 to 100% and divided into three groups respectively. Ethanol extracts of leaves, stem and roots of J. mollissima and espnosa cleoma were made, engorged females (Boophilus microplus Rhipicephallus) obtained randomly from animal farms in the middle region of Paraiba backwoods were collected. Prelaying (PPP), the laying period (PP), egg production index (IPO) and index: to reach the efficacy results of the plants on the engorged females of the trees by analyzing the following parameters was used reproductive efficiency (IER), in which we used the mathematical formulas according to Drummond et al. (1971).
