Résumé:
The present study aims to investigate the training experience of the National Program for the
Integration of Vocational Education with Basic Education in the modality of Youth and
Adults (PROEJA), carried out as part of the continuing training of teachers from the EJA
(Youth and Adult Education) of the city Sume-PB. The theoretical reference of authors such
as Paulo Freire, Moacir Gadotti, and others is used in this monograph. A qualitative
methodology is adopted here based on interviews with five teachers who work in the
referential modality and participated in PROEJA. In the theoretical basis, the study analyzes
the continuous formation of these teachers discussing the difficulties of pedagogic practice
due to the dynamization and the distance between theory and practice. Agaisnt the interviews
with the teachers, who participated in the training, analyzes are carried out verifying in the
teachers' statements the importance of continuing education and what this experience has
provided as an innovator for their classroom practices.
