Resumo:
The use of Agroforestry Systems (SAF's) under organic fertilization, through the
association of xerophilous, arboreal, fruit, grass and legume species, besides
recovering degraded areas by conventional agriculture, provides a multiplicity of
positive options to the field man, highlighting the opportunity to have a continuous
availability of products to the family consumption or for their herd. Thus, the objective
of this work was to see the productivity of an SAF under organic fertilization in
degraded area in the Coxi of Cadetes farm, in the municipality of Sertânia-PE. The
experimental design was a randomized complete block (DBC), with four (04)
treatments (increasing doses manure of ovine and caprine, 00, 02, 03 and 04 kg m-²).
The Agrosilvicultural Agroforestry System Model adopted was of the type Alley
Cropping, in an area of 432 m², in four plots (04) with 108 m². Each plot was composed
for 09 gliricidias, 08 passion fruit trees, 24 forage palms and approximately 32 pit the
corn + beans. The gliricidias remain with a fixed distribution in all plots, arranged in
spacing of 3 m x 4 m, and the other species were intercalated among the trees, varying
their location from plot to plot. The obtained data were submitted to analysis of variance
and regression, considering a significance by the Tukey test of 5%. The variables
height and diameter of the gliricidia were influenced by manure 6 months after planting
in the field. Already the biomass production (green and pre-dry) was not affected. The
manure rates did not influence green biomass production, number of cladodes and
biometrics of forage palm, production of passion fruit and bean grains. The production
"in nature" of corn ears was influenced by manure, but the attack by the "cartucho"
caterpillar can have influenced these results. It is recommended that the application of
ovine and caprine manure to the soil be carried out before planting the annual crops,
since it requires time to be mineralized. Even without the manure influence at crop
production, the observation that the SAF provided a long range of products, increased
some degraded soil chemical properties and increased faunistic biodiversity.
