Resumo:
The retextualization process is an essential practice for teaching Portuguese from oral and written texts. It occurs from a base text, which in turn will be transformed into another text, whether oral or written. From this perspective, working with textual genres is essential in this process, since through it students can significantly expand their knowledge, especially regarding their socio-communicative skills of language action and, therefore, in reading tasks, interpretation and construction of texts. The objective of this research is to show that the process of retextualization from orality to writing is an innovative and attractive pedagogical practice for students, therefore, it is fundamental for the development of students' reading and writing skills and competences. Thus, the research is based on the theoretical contributions of the following authors: Costa Val (2006) and Antunes (2010); Marcuschi (2010); Costa (2010), and Sá (2005) and Candido (2003). Regarding the methodology, this is a bibliographical, exploratory, qualitative and applied research. As a result, it presents an intervention proposal, through the retextualization of orality to writing to be presented to teachers of the 9th year of Elementary school II in order to contribute to their educational practices with the work through the text.
