Resumo:
In order to accomplish new needs for uninterrupted learning, various forms have been
applied, including Distance Education. The coming of networks and of the Internet have
increased communication between students and teachers as well as opportunities for creating
and distributing didactic materials. In spite of the extensive quantities of softwares already
known for the mentioned purpose, a methodology for organizing and presenting didactic
material is a task yet quite unexplored.
The aim of this work is to define a model for creating, organizing and re-using
didactic material. At first basic concepts, some known enviroments for Distance Education
and models for organizing didactic material are presented as well as a comparison about some
aspects of the mentioned models. Further, a model is presented for organizing didactic
material having in mind concepts regarding Components, Ontology and Conceptual Maps. So
that a better comprehension concerning the aim of this work can be archieved, the modeling
and the prototype of a software – based on the proposed model – are presented.
