Résumé:
This paper develops a group decision analysis of a conflict over the use of water resources in the Piranhas-Açu River Basin located between the states of Paraíba and Rio Grande Norte. The conflict analyzed in the present work is characterized by the definition of the flow of boundary between the two states, because the waters uses of this basin is determinant for the socioeconomic development of the referred states. The players / decision makers who acted in the decision making process of the Curemas-Açu System are the representatives of the ANA and DNOCS Federal Institutions, the SEMARH and AAGISA State Institutions by the State of Paraíba and SERHID and IGARN by the State of Rio Grande do Norte. Their actions, movements and individual preferences regarding the options presented in the conflict were analyzed. His analysis was developed through Game Theory and Nash equilibrium. The conflict analysis method consists of two main phases, which are the construction of the conflict model and the stability analysis, which provides for possible viable solutions to the conflict.
