Résumé:
The use of tools to organize the production process and have efficiency at all stages is a
competitive factor for today's organizations, in this sense, tools such as FTA (Fault Tree
Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). ) are examples of performance
assistance in machinery. Thus, this work proposes an approach to maintenance management
and the use of tools as an aid in a furniture industry factory. The purpose of this case study was
to determine actions that minimize or eliminate potential failure modes on one of the company's
operating lines. Thus, conducting this case study provides greater control and participation of
the operators involved in the activities, as well as changing the view on the importance of
maintenance management in the present day and facing the growing demands of the market.
