Resumo:
In this work, a strategy for the development of a synergistic model of the human cardiovascular system (SCH) is proposed. able to integrate the electrical activity of the
heart to mechanical activity. The model developed is of the lumped parameters type, also called OD and is appropriate to represent the physiological condition of a
patient, whether considered normal or with some disorder. To design the strategy,
the physiology of the cardiovascular system was studied, aiming to understand the mechanism of
functioning of the cardiac cycle and its variables. In addition, the study and
evaluation of lumped parameters models already consolidated in the literature, as well as the
execution of simulations of these models to then propose a model with the characteristics
above. In the suggested model, the electrical activity is coupled to the SCH model by
through electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. Modifications to the main features of the
synthetic ECG signals, such as intervals, amplitudes and periods. are made
by changing parameters in the signal model. Such modifications are detected
and used to change values of SCH model parameters such as systemic resistance
and intraventricular volume. This approach produces advances in the study of modeling
synergistic and can be used in future studies involving the investigation of the condition
heart. analyzed through the joint evaluation of the mentioned activities.
