Résumé:
The objective of this work is to make a study about the process of teaching and learning during the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic, presenting how each moment in school occurred during this period, and also to analyze in what ways the school communities planned themselves to offer a High-Quality education to the students in three schools in three cities located in the Cariri Paraibano. This study began with bibliographical research on online education in Brazil and the use of Information and communication technology (TICs) in Sociology teaching across the country. After that, a questionnaire was formulated to Sociology teachers from all over Paraiba, which aimed a search for a broad point of view of how the teachers are implementing the subject in high school during the pandemic. The research also analyzed the experiences with the application of Information and communication technology and the teaching of Sociology during the pandemic. After all questionnaire and bibliographic surveys, it was necessary to do field research with the objective of collecting data for a better understanding. Therefore, the field research was initiated by an interview with headmasters and Sociology teachers in the three schools that were the object of study, moreover, the monitoring in the online classes in a non-participant way was executed as well. Thus, the diaries that were written during the classes and the charts for collecting information were extremely important in order to understand how online classes work. Furthermore, from the information obtained in the research, it was possible to have a broad point of view of the remote teaching process during the pandemic and, with that, to realize that despite the teacher`s preparation and planning in 2020 (when a pandemic was unexpected for everyone) in the year of 2021, remote teaching still faced some difficulties, among them: the low number of students in the online classes as the significant participation of them and the excess in the teacher's workload as the lack of incentive with technological devices in order to proceed with the remote teaching.
