The objective of this work is to contribute to the education segment in Brazil by promoting the creation of a model to help creative decision-making in the construction of lesson plans by Science teachers in Elementary School (Final Years). For that, the strategies and tools applied in the training of the Product Designer are taken into account, taking into account the skills and competencies required. For such, we sought to combine the areas of Design and Education to promote dialogue with the pedagogical practice of teachers with a focus on problem solving, through tools and creativity techniques. In addition, the research approach is basic and exploratory, providing a study of both the state of the art and the experiences built by the subjects. As a methodological procedure, a bibliographic survey was carried out on the main tools and methods used in the Design classes, and the application of an online questionnaire, with teachers responsible for the disciplines of Product Project, in order to identify the main didactic strategies used in the classroom. As a result, synthesis tables were organized capable of correlating, reflecting and expanding the repertoire of possibilities for lesson plans in basic education.
