Phanerogamic flora of an exceptional area in the Brazilian semiarid region: Pico do Jabre State Park - PB, Brazil. “Áreas de exceção” within the Caatinga, they consist of humid enclaves resulting from climatic fluctuations during the Quaternary, with the climate as the main driver for the vegetation arrangement, which constitutes these areas, which consist of disjunctions of montane semideciduous seasonal forest, belonging to the Atlantic forest of Brazil. . Pico do Jabre State Park is an exceptional area located in the semi-arid region in Northeast Brazil. The present work aims to carry out a floristic inventory of Pico do Jabre, an exceptional area in the state of Paraíba. The species represented in the floristic list present in the area were collected through field visits carried out monthly between the years 2018 to 2020 and added to the species found, by Agra; Barbosa; Stevens. The specimens were collected randomly, along the entire massif and in its surrounding areas. The flora of Pico do Jabre State Park is represented by a total of 74 families, distributed in 439 genera, of which 355 were identified at species level, leaving 84 identified only at genus level. The families with the highest number of species collected are represented with the Fabaceae with a total of 53 species, followed by Malvaceae (23 spp.), Asteraceae (24 spp.), Solanaceae (16 spp. spp.), Euphorbiaceae (16 spp.), Bignoniaceae (15 spp.), Convolvulaceae (14 spp.), Sapindaceae (11 spp.), Rubiaceae (11 spp.) and Boraginaceae (8 spp.).
