Resumen:
Bridges are essential elements for road and rail transportation systems, especially in Brazil
where these modes are very relevant. In this context, the structural system of bridges with
multiple girders occupies prominent place in the world, being relatively simple and efficient,
with well-known economic and constructive advantages. The present work had as objective to
analyse the transversal influence lines of a hyperesthetic bridge model with cross section with
five girders, considering the isolated superstructure of the mesostructure and the infrastructure,
comparing the results obtained through the Simplified Classical Analytical Methods, Engesser-
Courbon, Leonhardt and Guyon-Massonet with the computational analysis via the Finite
Element Method (FEM). The transverse influence lines of the Engesser-Courbon and Leonhardt
methods converged with those of the MEF. The Guyon-Massonet method presented divergent
results from the other methods since the obtained influence lines were obtained for plate
elements.
