Résumé:
Cuttings were collected from five leafless trees of Mimosa caesapiniaefolia, treated with 0, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000ppm of Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) and planted in a rooting substrate composed of sand and vermiculite in a 4:1 ratio. These cuttings were kept in a greenhouse, under intermittent mist system at 30-35°C and 60-80% R.U. At the end of 50 days, no emission of roots was obtained in any of the treatments. Although there were no significant differences in percentage of survival and callosity between treatments, it was observed that these values were higher at 1000ppm concentration (60% and 6% respectively). At 70 days, the first roots were observed.
