Resumen:
The objective of the work was to investigate the occurrence of
Enterobacteriaceae in the vaginal microbiota of goats of the race Moxoto through the
bacteriological exam in twenty females bovid, adult, exempt of reproductive alterations,
maids under semi-arid climate Paraibano. The goats were maintained in collective stalls
of the section of small ruminant of the Veterinary Hospital of UFCG / Ducks and
analyze them bacteriological they were accomplished at the laboratory of Pathology of
the Veterinary Hospital. For this it was collected samples of vaginal mucus through
swab for bacteriological exam in the intention of identifying Enterobacteriaceaes. The
two goods of bacteria of larger occurrence were the following ones: Escherichia coli
(56%) and Klebsiella pneumoniae (22%). having identification also of Klebsiella
oxitoca (11%) and Salmonella spp (11%) classified as patogenicas to the reproductive
system, without, however they have manifested in those goats, pathological alterations.
The bacteria were identified through the following proofs: catalase production, urease,
indol; mobility in agar semi-solid; glucose acidification and lactose; oxidationfermentation
in middle of Hugh and Leifson; production of H2S; Growth in TSI, agar
citrate of Simmons, gelatinase, malonato and VM / VP.
