Résumé:
The Brazilian sheep industry is a promising activity economically and socially, thus
contributing to improving the lives of producers, as well as being a good way to
establish a healthy diet and quality. This study was developed in Lameirão farm Health
Center and Rural Technology (CSTR) at the Federal University of Campina Grande
(UFCG), geographically located at coordinates 7º02'58.3 "S 37 ° 29'32.5" W, in Santa
Teresa , Paraiba, Brazil, in November and December 2013 and January 2014. It was
used 24 sheep (½ + ½ Santa Inês Dorper) intact males with an average age of 6 months,
average weight of 24.60 ± 0.91. Initially identified and divided into four treatments
comprised 6 animals. The experimental design was completely randomized (DIC), with
4 treatments and 6 repetitions. The results were submitted to analysis of variance using
the SAS program (2003) and the mean values were compared by Tukey test at 5% and
probability. There were no statistical differences (P> 0.05) as the biometric variables of
sheep supplemented with multinutrient blocks incorporated with purging potato
semiextensivo system in the bush. The morphometric analysis the perimeter of the
croup was higher for the animals supplemented with multinutrient blocks containing the
purge potato and chemical dewormer, and lower for the animals supplemented with
multinutrient blocks without the addition of purge potato. Towards non carcass
components (edible part) of Santa Ines sheep supplemented with multinutrient blocks in
semiextensivo regime in the bush it is observed that there were statistical differences in
the percentage of full and spleen gastrointestinal tract (Table 3) as well as the weight
absolute (kg) Liver (P <0.05). Towards non carcass components (part inedible) there
was no significant difference (P> 0.05) for these variables between the different levels
of purge potato incorporated into multinutrient blocks offered to sheep. Overall, the
constituents not studied the carcass obtained significant values for the species and for
handling the situation were submitted.
