Estudo de caso: inspeção predial para investigação das manifestações patológicas na Unidade Básica de Saúde “José Lins” localizada na cidade de Timbaúba dos Batistas-RN.

Abstract

Pathologies in buildings refer to a set of deficiencies that occur during the execution of the work or over time. In this way, pathology is in the field of engineering that studies the symptoms, mechanisms, causes and origins of defects in civil constructions. Thus, in the event of frames pathological conditions, corrective interventions must be preceded by a previous study about their origins and the circumstances in which they developed. In this context, this work aims to identify the pathological manifestations presented at UBS “José Lins”, located in the city of Timbaúba dos Batistas/RN, so, through the diagnoses obtained, try to propose an adequate treatment to these. The choice of this UBS was due to the importance that the health have for the population that needs medical care performed in these dependencies. Thus, the methodology adopted for the development of this study consists of carrying out a building survey, associated with the use of the building inspection of the Brazilian Institute of Engineering Assessments and Expertise (IBAPE) and the GUT matrix (Severity, Urgency and Trend). The results demonstrate a high occurrence of pathologies related to problems structural structures, most of which are linked to large openings that can lead to collapse of the building, followed by stain, mold and infiltration, in addition to efflorescence and coating peeling. Most of these pathologies were classified as having a high degree of risk, thus, it was concluded that the use of building is irregular. Among the most recurrent causes of the investigated pathologies, flaws in the design and execution stages of the building stand out. So, for Through the analysis performed, it was possible to indicate treatments for the recovery of the performance, and in most cases the demolition of part of the structure and the execution of a new one, using the appropriate and necessary studies and methods for the due use of the building object of this study.
