Resumo:
The present work had as objective evaluates the biometry, the corporal condition and
the morfometria of the carcass of kid goats Fl (Boer X SRD), finished in native pasture
and submitted at different supplementation levels. The work was driven in the farm
belonging Nupearido the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), in Patos - PB.
24 were used kids goats, distributed in a completely randomized design with four
treatments (supplemented with 0,0; 0,5; 1,0 and 1,5% of the alive weight in matter dry)
and six repetitions. The measures biometrics and the corporal condition were
accomplished in the beginning and in the end of the experiment the measures
morfometricas were already checked after the discount of the animals according to
RIISPOA. The data were submitted to the variance analysis and of regression, always at
the level of 5% of significancy. There was positive lineal effect of the supplementation
for width of the croup, circunference of the thigh and scrotal circumference. It was
observed that the corporal scores (back and external) they grew lineally (P <0,05) with
the supplementation. For the carcass lineal and positive effect was observed for the
depth and the thoracic width, as well as for the score of the resignation and of the
pelvic-renal fat. The growing use of levels of supplementation allowed to esteeming
larger width of the croup and the perimeters of the leg and of the scrotum, and that the
increase of the supplementation allows the obtaining of animals with larger scores of
corporal condition. The supplementation also allowed esteeming larger sizes for the
width and thoracic depth, as well as carcasses with better resignation and larger amounts
of energy reservations in his/her interior. I f the objective will obtain heavier carcasses
originating from of animals with weight around 28,42 kg of PV with measured larger
biometrics, good corporal condition, deeper and wide carcasses and with larger deposits
of energy reservations the recommended level is of 1,5% of PV, but i f the purpose will
obtain lighter carcasses the supplementation level can be smaller.
